Therapy that follows your lead, not a script.
Pre-licensed therapist with an integrative, client-led approach.
I work with adults, individually and as couples. A lot of my clients think or feel differently than the standard playbook assumes, and that's usually the point of the work, not something to fix. I bring warmth and humor to sessions, and I'm always glad to hear from new clients.
Four ways of working, drawn on as they're useful to you, rather than followed as a single fixed method.
How I work
Person-Centered
You set the pace and the goals. I follow your lead rather than a script.
Cognitive Behavioral
Practical tools for noticing thought patterns and shifting the ones that aren't serving you.
Relational-Cultural
Growth happens in connection. We'll look at your relationships as a resource, not just a stressor.
Solution-Focused
Less time dissecting the problem, more time building toward what's already working.

Credentials
I hold a Master's degree and am currently pursuing clinical licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Minnesota.
I practice as a pre-licensed clinician under the licensed supervision of Erica Nesvig, MA, LPCC, at LynLake Centers for WellBeing.
Common questions
I've completed my Master's degree and am working toward full licensure as an LPCC. All my work is completed under the supervision of Erica Nesvig, MA, LPCC. That means you're getting both my direct care and oversight from an experienced clinician.
We'll spend the first session getting to know each other: what's bringing you in, what you've tried before, and what you're hoping is different on the other side of this. There's no pressure to have it all figured out; we'll build the plan together from there.
Insurance and billing are handled through LynLake Centers for WellBeing. See their insurance & billing page for what's accepted and for what current out of pocket payments look like.
Yes. The couples work I do often involves exactly that dynamic. We'll look at how ADHD, autism, or other differences show up between you, without treating either partner as "the problem."
Yes. I see clients either by telehealth or in person at The Lakeside Center.
